Nolan House 24 Circular Street
This is an example of Second Empire style architecture. It was designed by Frelin Vaughan 1871-1872
This spectacular home is named after Michael Nolan, the first Irish born Mayor of Albany, New York. He owned the Beverwyck Brewery, Inc. in Albany. Nolan House was donated to the St. Peter's Church in 1959 and was used as a convent for the nuns. It now belongs to the Presbyterian-New England Church.
